The representatives from CSIRO, the Australian Embassy (Resources and Energy), the University of Western Australia, the Western Australian Government (Department of Mines of Petroleum) and Geoscience Australia participated in a study tour to China, undertaking site visits to CCUS demonstration plants and participated in meetings with key government and industry representatives.
China has several CCUS demonstration sites and the delegates visited the following sites to learn from their experience:
