About 50 students from Xinjiang and other Chinese universities gathered in Urumqi from 29 June-1 July to learn more about CCUS from about 20 Chinese and international experts. The experts not only provided the students basic knowledge on CCUS, but also encouraged them to think about the possibility of CCUS in the future for Xinjiang.
The students attended presentations, participated in group discussion sessions, and actively participated in the on-hand CCUS related demonstrations. While the students appreciated this opportunity to learn directly from CCUS experts, the presenters were impressed by the students’ enthusiasm and ideas.
